LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Legacy Blinds Manufacturing warrants that all blinds and shades properly installed in residential dwellings will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser. This warranty includes most mechanical problems.

1. This warranty does not include any conditions resulting from damages caused by accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, motorized devices, discoloration due to sunlight, warped due to temperature or the passage of time, exposure to humidity, exposure to salty air, normal wear and tear, ordinary usage, or failure to follow our instructions with respect to measurement, installation, cleaning, or maintenance. There is no warranty that covers the shade fabrics or blind slats (if damaged, worn-out by daily use, cut or broken for example). Please follow our maintenance instructions carefully or please call the office (972-820-0007) before cleaning.
2. For those customers that have purchased motorization hardware from Legacy Blinds MFG, this warranty will cover mechanical issues for Legacy Blinds MFG purchased motors, solar panels, and channel remotes for up to 2 years from the date of purchase. The charger is not covered under warranty and customers will be required to repurchase a secondary for $30 (without any discounts). Please note, if Legacy Blinds MFG shades have been altered, this includes any self-repairs made to the motor/solar panel/remote by a third-party vendor/customer, this warranty will expire immediately, and customers are required to cover repair costs. To avoid this, please always reach out to Legacy Blinds MFG.
3. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities, or warranties, express or implied including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Legacy Blinds MFG be liable or responsible for INCIDENTAL or CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES or for any other direct damage, loss, cost, expense, or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.

5. Products manufactured by Legacy Blinds MFG come with an In-Home Limited Lifetime Warranty. This includes professional installation in-home service for manufactured defects of installed products produced by Legacy Blinds. This will include the repair or replacement of the defective part of the product to its proper functioning state. This does not include misuse and abuse of the product, nor does this include third party/customer reassembly or alteration of any products purchased. If any of this is suspected, it will be determined by our service representative in which there will be a trip charge with a repair charge to correctly repair the product. Customers will be notified of any charges before any work is commenced.
